Our treatment philosophy
Our cat FIP drugs are based on Remdesivir and GS-441524, which is developed by Gilead and discovered to be effective for FIP by Dr Niels Pedersen.
However, our protocols are more personalised. Since 2020, after numerous cases and feedback from owners, we believe that the dosage recommendations and adjustments thereafter are unique to every patient.
Personalized Consultation
There are many considerations in every case, such as how active the patient is, is the cat still eating on its own, and the weight and size of the cat.
We provide advice on what metrics to monitor such as appetite, attitude, level of activity, and changes in body weight and condition over time.
Other than cat FIP treatment, we must work closely with you to provide advice to minimize the discomfort and suffering of the patient during treatment, for example teaching you how to minimize pain during infection administration.
